This entire weekend was a giant blur. I was on Germany time, which meant waking up around midnight and going to bed around 3 PM. My body didn't cooperate, so I woke up at 8 PM both days. Day two of the event ran until 3 AM their time/6 PM my time. I had a date since I thought I'd be able to sleep and wake up for it, but I was completely shot. I

I am of the same mind when it comes to my sister. That she is a different expression of the same blood as I am is no reason for me to maintain a relationship with her - a person who would otherwise be completely repellent to me as a homo sapien. And it's not as if an arbitrary decision was made one day to show disdain for her - it was a campaign over years of her young adulthood, culminating in a "enough is enough!" moment. I don't have the time or energy necessary to investwaste in keeping ties with a person I just plain do not like and whose decisions and "lifestyle choices" I will not condone.
