new car! i'm not sure but i'm assuming there will be some sort of tax credit for buying a car right now (if it's new, that is).

state sales tax is tax deductible. =)

unless, of course, your itemized deductions are greater than your sales tax. :)

I take the suggested/base deduction, whatever it's called.

I am buying new, but a little undecided. Toyota is offering 1500 cash back on 09 Corollas and 500 cash back on the 10s. Then there's the 1000 graduate cash. Honda is supposed to announce their incentives Thursday.
