All my passion for writing these days goes into my gaming blog, notes for my role-playing campaign or other social media. What can I do to reinvigorate myself with enthusiasm for a general purpose blog like this LiveJournal has been? Do I still need to? Is it the platform I find stifling? What would happen if I moved across the street to Wordpress?

LJ is my refuge. For almost purely technological reasons, my colleagues have friended me in Facebook and Twitter and for similar reasons I'm not able to cut them off. So if I wanna be NSFW or just sulk or somesuch then LJ it is.

Well, if you went to wordpress, I'd watch you, and comment with you.

Maybe you could do what I do with Blogger and post fiction every day or something? That's helping me a lot.

I am, regrettably, not a fiction-generating kind of guy. I have a hard enough time coming up with notes for roleplaying games. I think I could take something from your own practice of making a LiveJournal post every night, though.

Heh :) I do two blogs daily now, my personal and my work one. It really keeps the fingers limber, y'know? :)

Go for it. It can only help.
