So my dad has been in the hospital for the past month or so. He isn't doing very well so they moved him to a different part to have more care and run tests. Todays diagnosis is pneumonia in one lung and two blood clots in the other. Guy can not catch a break! :-(

Crud ... is this stemming from that accident he had a while back, or is it just other health stuff?

It is and it isn't. He went in for back surgery and while there and thee worst ulcerative colitis attack he's ever had. Went home for a couple days after a week and a half then was in so much pain from the colitis had to go to the ER. Released after another week or so then back to the ER after a night home. The ER nurses couldn't believe they let him out! Had surgery to remove most of his large intestine on monday. He's had 5 or 6 blood transfusions now.

I was told (at 16) to call anyone that would want to say goodbye to my dad. He was "dead" once (if not more) and was found to be alive by a cafeteria worker coming to get his menu...long story, and it includes ICU and coma's and 3 months in the hospital...not to mention my m om in and out. So I can empathize rather well and listen rather well if you need some support.
