I think I have literally been scared to start a post on here again. I just know that if I write what is going on in my life it will turn into a five page paper about how unhappy I am. I am actually flying up there this weekend to say goodbye. But I am sure a holiday will roll along here soon and we can have a take two of this weekend. Also I have no school on Fridays so I could always come up and visit

you promised you'd call.
and you're not old. i felt/feel the same thing sometimes.
being an artist isnt something goes away entirely. everyone feels uninspired once in a while. give it a little time. you'll find your voice again.

i know we cant make it all better, but can it be worse than being alone?

Jim has got to be one of the luckiest men in the world to have you in his life, Juliet. And with you to come home to, there's no doubt in mind that he will survive. I doubt he'll be the same (no one ever is after a deployment), but I believe that you're strong enough to be there when he needs someone, just as he is for you.

As someone who's had a loved one go on a deployment, I can tell you that it won't be easy. Time won't fly by as fast as you want it to. And no one truly knows what you're going thru except you. But you have people who love you and want to see you smile, and they'll be there for you if you need someone. Write Jim lots of letters, send lots of pictures.

You're so strong, Juliet. I believe in you.
