That which took forever
seems gone in the blink of an eye.
The night that seemed so endless,
was over in a heartbeat.
It was days, weeks, years,
in those few hours on the sand.
The stars and waves dancing,
in a ritual for the goddess,
suppressing all fear, and doubt.
I took a trip,
and I fell hard.
