Anna had troops on the ground. It was aftermath from the destruction of her eggs. Governments across the world had agreed that the Vs needed more protection. Anna hadn't really made it an option either after her little temper tantrum

They've had a good day at the zoo with Elizabeth learning different animals and Jonah staying engaged for approximately twenty minutes before falling asleep in the stroller. But really, the day's better than good and now as Elizabeth sleeps in the backseat, Juliet glances in the rear view mirror as she drives, smiling a little as she reaches for Joshua's hand with her free one.

The hand holding is short lived though, when something explodes in the air, and Juliet's swerving to avoid hitting a car coming at them, then swerving again to avoid a parked car. Finally she slams on the breaks, her heart pounding in her chest as she twists around to look at the kids.

Still sleeping. "You okay?" she asks Joshua before her eyes finally take in the scene outside of the car. "...Is that...was that a V shuttle?"

"I'm fine and it was," he replies, staring at the mess. Blue energy grenade explosion appears to be the culprit. It's sloppy and Joshua hopes the Column isn't involved so Anna can take the full force of this.

He's about to comment on her quick reflexes and fancy driving when he spies a familiar car. He's pointing at it and about to ask if she recognizes it too. Maybe it's just another coincidence.

Juliet sees it as soon as he points, and she's unbuckling her seat belt as soon as she realizes

She's gone before he can say anything so he settles on raising an eyebrow at her. He'd help her if it weren't for their two sleeping children whom he'd have to roust and carry with him. Carrying his offspring on his back is not an option. He's a lizard not an possum. And at any rate, the middle of a V crash is likely the last place he needs to be. Though he's not sure if Juliet working on Erica is going to be just as disasterous when those medical vehicles arrive. Still she's not wanting and the worst that might happen is Anna might figure out Erica has a lookalike while the worst would be that they lose Erica. It's a little different to be on this side of the drama, but his appreciation for his wife is only increasing. He's been on the receiving end of the more direct part of her personality, but he was too far gone to remember it. It's something else entirely to see it now as he is.
