Her shift at the clinic had been chaotic, too many people, not enough space, and she focused on her work. She thought at some point she glimpsed Joshua, but by the time she thought about it again her shift had already been over for an hour and a half.
That focus keeps her distracted enough to not think about why she's been so busy, but once she's in her hut alone, that memory comes flooding back. It's so real that she thinks she can taste the blood in her mouth, and is this what she's been repressing? Was she in an explosion? She doesn't have any scars or marks on her body so that seems unlikely. But why would she remember that ( ... )

"Yeah, I was down there earlier. Must have missed you. I left when things seemed to have settled, but guess they picked back up," he says, noticing she looks like she'd had a rough day.

She swallows heavily, and decides that even though she hasn't seen him and it may not matter, she wants to tell him about the memory.
"I saw something today, and I don't know what it means. Do you have a few minutes to talk?"
