Early Birthday Present

Braden got some great news today, a day before his first birthday. His physical therapist said that he is now considered to be officially "caught up" age wise. They generally give premies two years before they are considered to be on the same level as full term babies. So great new..no more appointments other than the routine well baby checkups. He

Hooray! Happy birthday to Braden!

Catherine arrived two days after her due date (but I went into labor that day), so she's right on par - they're probably about equal. Is he cruising around your furniture? That's what Cat's doing. Getting ready to walk on her own.

Yeah, We are in the process of "Braden Proofing" the house now. His legs have gotten alot stronger since we got him the exersaucer and bungee jumper. Our pediatrician doesn't recommend walkers.

I wouldn't, either - traditional walkers (the kind they stand in) can be dangerous, and they also actually retard the onset of real walking. But the kind they walk behind and push are a different matter. Cat has two of them and loves them - and, since she got them on Easter, she's gotten very confident with her walking and is ALMOST ready to do it on her own. She loves the exersaucers, too.

But then, she's been supporting her weight standing from about two months - she LOVES to stand!

Also, he is adorable and I am pleased but not surprised to hear that he is all full HP, because you are a good person and deserve good things.

I was wondering how he was doing, I havent seen you post much in the last few months. Glad to hear he has caught up.
