dont feel bad, i can't get anyone to work for me for the night of senior social because everyone's going to a show, and nick is working for mel. the whole situtation with getting time off sucks because it relies on other humans to not be selfish, which is one of the biggest human defects.
I think we all must remember that everyone who works at the loaf is friends with one another, therefore if one person needs time off, everyone does for the most part. Show going on? Good luck getting coverage! It's getting ridiculous.
"Friend" seems to be becoming a foreign concept here in Exeter. Everyone's pissed off and in bad spirits recently, and people's attitudes towards each other are distant, and usually selfish. I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE.
Before you think to harshly of me for telling you that I didn't feel like working for you, let me clarify something:
No one works for anyone anymore, and since I say yes to working for people like 75% of the time, word got around that I am agreeable when people ask me to work for them. Thus, I am one of the only people who works for anyone without asking to trade shifts. Seeing as we've been short on staff recently (Bryan quitting, and before that, Tylor leaving), I've worked a lot... two overtime weeks, many double shifts (I've done double Saturdays and Sundays, which suck).
I guess my point is, you asked me at a bad time (no fault of yours) because I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Selfish maybe, but I felt I deserved it.
sorry sam i would have said go to the show if id known andy was dishwashing and if it wasnt andy dishwashing. basically, it was slow enough last night that you could have left and we would have been fine except andy was working and thus it would have been his call. but i thought we were going to be short a person that night. sorry lady. ill give you some flowers when i come home.
