Hmph. A caveat: I spent the second half of this movie distracted by the incredible nausea induced from the shaky cam, so it's possible that I'm holding a grudge.

This movie sucked. And that pisses me off, because from the (very little) I'd read about it, I'd gotten a completely different impression of what was going to happen. It starts off with

Crap, I had hopes for that. And, yeah, the shaky cam thing would make me puke everywhere. I can watch Cloverfield at home because it's not so bad on the small screen and I can pause it. Crappity.

I know, that's why I usually watch these things at home, but I forgot. I freely admit that the motion sickness is probably making me a little harsher than I would usually be, but frankly the trailer makes the movie seem a lot scarier. With a different ending (and ignoring the motion sickness), I'd give this one 4 stars, but they fucked it up badly.
