Here via Foxy -- I got all excited when she said she was betaing a Vicki/Neil fic! And this is absolutely wonderful. I adore all the little tiny moments you've captured in here; you've really made them feel more whole as characters than we ever see on the show, and at the same time, I don't know, universal and intensely relatable. The descriptions and tiny little observations are so elegant, too; the mountains and the stopovers and Neil's voice are just fantastic.

Really beautiful work -- I'm so glad you wrote it, and it's going to become my headcanon for these two. Thank you for writing it.
