First of all, I don't mind waiting the 45 seconds to download the vid..especially when the gift in the end is as spectacular as this. And I download many a vidder's work from MU so I am used to the delay and have come not to mind it at all...so don't worry your head about that, and again..even 45 minutes would have been worth it...to see a visual feast like this.

You know I don't know enough about BSG to understand Kara's story fully, but I can be swept away by the stunning imagery you've swashed across your canvas here, the layers, the movement...the the textures...the color..incredible. And again, I only know a bit of her story, but your vid painting feels sooooo right for her. I just sat here in awe as your images flowed in and out and all around. I wish I was familiar enough to comment properly on how you've used the child imagery, but seeing it here coupled with all the uneasiness she has now, it just feels amazing. I am thinking hose images of her as a girl near the end have her wishing for that time. I am particularly awed ( ... )

I don't even know how to begin to respond to you, except to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I've never been a confident vidder, and to know that you have responded like this is pure bliss. You know that I don't think about overlays without simultaneously thinking of you....As for your non-BSG Fan status: One guide rule i try to follow is to vid universal themes that will pull in non-fans and try to vid as near to their POV as possible. I ask what would I want them to come away with after seeing the video. I am very pleased with the things you had to say about Kara, both from seeing the vid and from what little you already knew about her. This is the best type of thing you can say. (((you ( ... )

I'll never be able to find words to express my feelings about this for sure. For now I just want to give you a sign that I watched it but I am too stunned and overwhelmed to write something coherent... :))) If I find somewhere my language skills I'll write more:)))

Not to worry, Diar. I'm so happy to know that you took the time to watch it, and that you enjoyed it. Vidders need the feedback from other vidders, and so i appreciate your kind words.

and btw - congratulations on the Natural Election. I didn't see the honor going to anyone but you, my friend!

WOW. Um, this is kind of...GORGEOUS.

Your choices just feel so right, and what's really impressive is that this video is at it's very finest when there are no lyrics at all. Most vids tend to be the exact opposite, where the film playing during the lyrics coincides and keeps your interest while the parts of the song, brigde, etc. w/o lyrics get boring/drag. Not so here. You managed to find just the right clips for each beat, matching tempo/feel. It's visually stunning. I honestly think it's one of the best BSG vids I've seen thus far. Brilliant song choice as well. I love Switchfoot, but aside from that, this song fits Kara so perfectly. It's haunts you.

I can't tell you how lovely it was to open up my LJ and find your wonderful comments on my video! I will save this, and take it out when my confidence wanes, as it inevitably will. Thank you so much!

This was particularly gratifying to read. I used to be afraid of instrumental sections; but now I try to choose songs that don't make me slave to the lyrics. This way I can use clips that maybe don't fit the words, but fit the story I'm telling. These are usually my favorite scenes anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to watch this and share your reaction.
