Riding Another Horse

This is me on Kelly's (from next door) horse, Obi. He's a 15.2 1/4hh arabian warmblood (3/4 arab, 1/4 holsteiner, i think).

Aww, he looks nice. You do look good on him, but you look a little tipped forward. Maybe it's the saddle, mum's saddle does that to me.
It always felt weird riding smaller horses after my TB. I was like 'Where's all the neck gone?!'

yea the saddle is 16inch or something. YIKES! tho i do commonly ride with a defensive hunch.

How tall is Beej? You certainly don't look underhorsed to me on Obi but I will agree that feel wise it's always a bit strange going down to something smaller when you've been used to a bigger horse.

I think after riding Lucy for almost a year now I would die if I had to actually use my leg to get a horse to go forward!!

Very cool horse! I hate horses that need constant pushing though, I give Ax one squeeze and she doesn't stop until I tell her to.

Wow, he doesn't look as Arab-y as I would think a 3/4 would... the only pic he looks it in is the second last, really! His motor mustn't be Arab either, hehe. You look fine on him though!

Theo takes lots of leg to get going and Santana takes NONE, so I have a nice balance that keeps me on my toes, lol! Both give me a workout -- just in different ways!
