Gilbert, you are outrageously expensive.

I was talking with Lithuania and Greece about the upcoming 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall (don't confuse that with the Reunification), and a certain article caught my eye (you'll see it in the chat log):

[1:56:22 PM] Liet: awww
[2:05:18 PM] Liet: Apparently mainting Prussia is expensive: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/091107/world/international_us_germany_wall

poor germany
[2:06:36 PM] Herakles: yeah
[2:06:47 PM] Herakles: prussia needs to get out of the basement and get a job
[2:06:49 PM] Herakles: lol
[2:07:04 PM] Liet: or else Germany is gunna go broke
[2:07:22 PM] Herakles: yeah
[2:07:48 PM] Liet: I have a new respect for the pain he must go through
[2:45:39 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: Hi guys
[2:45:55 PM] Liet: hi
[2:46:52 PM] Herakles: hi germany
[2:49:21 PM] Liet: your brother costs you losts of $
[2:49:32 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: He does.
[2:49:40 PM] Liet: 1.3 trill
[2:50:03 PM] Herakles: you should tell prussia to go get a job
[2:50:07 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: That's going to lead to one hell of an argument
[2:50:21 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: I would, but I have no idea what he'd do.
[2:50:27 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: He's useless for paperwork
[2:51:10 PM] Liet: he needs to contribute
[2:52:57 PM] Liet: well tell him he better start paying his share or he's homeless
[2:53:06 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: Oh, I will, alright.
[2:53:26 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: Or I'll just start taking things away from him.
[2:53:36 PM] Herakles: yeah'
[2:53:38 PM] Herakles: like his beer
[2:53:55 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: He'll start reconsidering after I've banned strawberry ice cream from the house and told Canada to not feed him at all.
[2:54:05 PM] Herakles: lol
[2:55:23 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: I swear, a decent chunk of the randomly disappearing finances can be traced to how much he eats.
[2:56:13 PM] Liet: lol
[2:56:33 PM] Herakles: then stop feeding him
[2:56:52 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: I try
[2:57:00 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: He aaaalways figures something out
[2:57:13 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: Did you know that he raids Austria's fridge when he's not home?
[2:57:20 PM] Herakles: he does?
[2:57:27 PM] Herakles: get that man something to do
[2:57:28 PM] Liet: that doesn't surprise me
[2:57:31 PM] Herakles: he might eat less then
[2:57:50 PM] Herakles: have him raise chickens or something
[2:58:07 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: We don't have room in the house for the chickens anywhere
[2:58:43 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: I was wondering if he's make a good mechanic. He probably has experience from having to fix his Trabant over and over and over and over and over.
[2:59:04 PM] Herakles: maybe
[2:59:10 PM] Herakles: or...
[2:59:23 PM] Herakles: you could threaten to send him to work for russia, if he doesn't find his own job
[2:59:43 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: Oh, good god no
[2:59:51 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: That would make him flip out
[3:00:01 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: He's unstable about ANYTHING involving Russia
[3:00:07 PM] Herakles: i think it would be good incentive
[3:00:20 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: Then again, it would work quite well if it didn't cause a total mental breakdown.
[3:00:38 PM] Herakles: well, somtimes you have to give out tough love
[3:02:13 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: I know that. I do it to him aaaallll the time...
[3:02:31 PM] Herakles: sometimes you have to be extra tough
[3:02:45 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: I know that, too.
[3:02:52 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: He's slippery, sometimes
[3:03:06 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: I really need to figure out how he got around the last beer moratorium
[3:03:19 PM] Herakles: hm...
[3:03:21 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: Ah, here's an idea! I'll replace it with vodka.
[3:03:25 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: He HATES vodka.
[3:03:30 PM] Herakles: he does?
[3:03:33 PM] Herakles: hm... interesting
[3:03:46 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: It was all Russia would let him have, really
[3:04:34 PM] Liet: Russia and Gilbert never got a long very well
[3:04:49 PM] Ludwig Beilschmidt: That's an understatement for the ages

In case the article got lost in the wall of text, here it is again: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/international_us_germany_wall
1.3 trillion Euros, brother? Really?

I don't think I'll be able to really celebrate on Monday. As always, there's a lot of work to do. However, I do want to be able to see those dominoes fall. I'm sure that my boss will at least let me see that.

I think I got my real point across clearly enough. In case I didn't:

GET A JOB, GILBERT.

(OOC: Hurr, saw the article and couldn't resist. Sorry Ludz is always so mean to Gilbert... XD Also sorry to Liet and Greece for doctoring the chat log a bit, but it gave me ideas. ._.)
