now, i normally don't make posts like these, but i have a monstrous headache and feel terribly sad. i miss everyone on here who used to post, post, post and inspire me and generally fill me with a fuzzy warmth. why does everything have to be templates, one line input, radio buttons and faceless collections of people with shamelessly self-indulgent ( Read more... )

i was thinking about that just a few days ago. some of the people whose entries i loved the most have pretty much abandoned the livejournal thing :(

sad, isn't it? there are lots of lovely blogs and people posting things on other sites, obviously, but lj used to be such a great place where all of this gathered. i guess that's why i'd like to start a "proper" blog, to see what it's really like & if it can be as 'rewarding' as this place used to be. we'll see...

um, hello (i believe you added me the other day!)
i just wanted to say that although you feel like not many people have inspired you on here as of late (i feel the same), i've read through your journal since you added me and you seem so interesting and wonderful. so it would be a shame for you to leave here and to go elsewhere because it means that livejournal has lost yet another one of it's unique and lovely posters :(
anyway, nice to meet you! cara x

hi, yes, i went on a bit of a hunt for people that seemed interesting and still post - and you seemed to fit the description, so hello!
i'm not leaving lj, because i really, really love it, i was just thinking of perhaps "branching out" & doing something new. perhaps. maybe. someday. we'll see what happens!

I feel that same way. But at the same time, blogging feels really lonely and I would never do it.
