Western Civ with Daddow has been a great experience to say the least. Summa Theologica brings me at something I've been trying to figure out, the whole reason vs. faith and the attempt to bring both of them in agreeance. Summa Theologia said that Faith > Reason

the Catholic Church believes that evolution occured, but it was guided by god (i'm pretty sure)

St. Thomas Aquinas wrote Summa Theologia
There's a Catholic church in Ames named after him

yeah, I actually knew all that, but it's still good to hear. I'm just going through a process, struggle whatever you want to call it to arrive at a point where I'm satisfied with the faith and reason aspects, summa theologica just gives me something to think about that someone else has already decided.

I was just sort of pointing out the irony of it.
If there is a god controlling everything in the universe, he has a very distinct sense of irony.
