Battle of the bands last night felt a little lackluster, like the shine it's had in the past had fallen from it, but, some rocking out in the front fun was had and all was good. Crazy that in that one day a band of mine broke up and Ludarae played it's last show, woah dude. My favorite part of that concert though, was seeing Ethan's face turn ( Read more... )

I haven't listened to anything else by the Magnetic Fields, but 69 Love Songs is a really good album.

It was because I wasn't there to add my brand natural force of will to the atmosphere. Honestly, I would've much preferred to be there rather than planning a church service at a lock in in Coalville. I didn't know such a town even existed!

And I'm with Meredith on this one, you sum up things incredibly well. Where are you going next year?

Postal Service..oh man, what a let-down. For a supposed "indie super-group" it's so much worse than either of the groups it claims to be a bastard offspring of.

And that, boys and girls, is why they only released one album :P

whatever man, just listen to your main stream music. I hear "Photograph" by Nickelback is a pretty good song.

don't fight it when it's true! Play your favorite Postal Service songs and then compare them back to back to some DCFC songs that someone with taste picks.

Also, I must give props where props are due. Nickelback has been cleaning up their act recently, and at the very least their new stuff is a step above junk like "How You Remind Me" *shudder*
