Hey all. I'm in another part of Iraq now, but i'm still doing alright. I'm missing you all very much, but i'm getting closer to being able to come home now. only about 2-2.5 months and i'll be safely in the us. another 2-3 weeks after that and i'll be home home making plans to see as many as you as i can. i have to go, but i have many stories

Nope! they can't get me. I can't believe you've written me! No I haven't recieced them but i was convinced no one was going to write to me. the only people to write me so far is my family, my ex, and one letter i recieved yesterday.

Happy Marine Corps Birthday. I am south of Fallujah in a town called Ferris near Ameria. In reference to main points, we are near Taqqada air base. My unit has seen better days. one of our platoons has suffered 25% combat losses. if they lose two more people they will be moved because they will be combat ineffective. i'm alright. i'm in a fob we took over from recon. i'll be home soon. maybe i'll be able to make it to pendleton to chill with you sometime.

gosh. im so happy u still keep me in your thoughts dave. really. that just put a huge smile on my face. so big in fact, that it seems to be migrating off of my very said face lol. i miss u so much. i cant fucking wait to see you. but we shall have a massvie celebration when u get back to re-celebrate your birthday, my birthday, thanksgiving, halloween, christmas, new years, and valentines allllllllll at once!!! so basically we'll wear party hats while dressed in costumes trick or treating for turkey while singing christmas carols and ringing in the new year at 12 by blowing out birthday candles! sound fun? fucks yea nigga!
