Welcome to my own little corner of the virtual neighborhood. I started this in 2001 and hope to keep it up for some time. I post thoughts, rants, questions, plans, pictures, and observations to my journal, and welcome any readers who want to read.
Friending
I welcome friending or commenting from anybody who wishes to read or follow my journal. I tend to friend people who I have met in person or who I wish to read. I do not read every journal that I friend. Not friending or not reading a journal does not mean I don't like that person. My friendslist gets modified at my whim, without notification or warning. Participation in this journal implies that readers behave within the boundaries of being a Reasonable Person.
Security and filters
My journal is primarily for the intended audience of friends, but I know that many others read. I keep most of what I say public, with the idea that public means anybody may read them. I have several filters which I use at my own discretion, when appropriate.
My kids
I occasionally write about them, under friends-locked posts.
