More, uhm, teabagging . . .

I have been very amused by Rachel Maddow's barely restrained giggles over the newly discovered GOP passion for teabagging, but David Shuster - filling in for Keith Olbermann on MSNBC's Countdown - takes the double entendre to new heights. This is HILARIOUS!!

Ah, the GOP - in this Era of Obama (AKA the grownups are back in power), they are just the ( Read more... )

lol!

And AC should know . . .

How the hell are YOU Charley Ryan!

I hope you are well.

Usually April 15th is a kind of downer, but SO and I decided we'd celebrate the day by joining in all that enthusiastic teabagging, and so I'm feeling pretty fucking cheerful.

You gotta love AC's delivery of that line. Heh.

I am doing good. Hanging out with my new kitten. I've been looking for a name for him. Teabag, perhaps?

Well, I'm glad you and the SO could enjoy this day of teabagging. *G* You'd think that someone would have clued the Republican party in to that one. But it's given us plenty of good laughs.

Yes, I would imagine that it is hard to talk while you are tea bagging. Thanks, Anderson, for that observation.
There was a rally in Center City Philadelphia today. On the news there were these guys with tea bags hanging from their glasses. I wish I would have been there to laugh, point and scream 'Testicles, testicles!'

LOL! I have to admit, I'd love to turn on msnbc and see a pleasant, attractive, sweater-wearing Quaker lady cheerfully yelling out, "testicles, testicles" at wingnut teabag wearers. I'd be able to tell SO, hey, I know that lady from LJ! She's fucking awesome, and is as feisty as hell!

I don't think anyone needs to clue in the Republican party about the use of the word teabagging. I've not heard one conservative talk show host or Repub. call it that. Only the MSNBC's and the libs seem to use that term in a very tongue in cheek kind of way.
And if you got your news from a more *cough* unbiased network, you might be aware that the teaparties have nothing to do with whose tax rates they are or what political party you are affiliated with. Get a clue, guys.

I read four newspapers (that would be MSM) every day for my news, and I read several blogs on the weekends, including liberal blogs and a few of the right wing nutbar blogs, just to see what they are thinking ( ... )

I actually know a lot about politics, and government, and history, and I recognize the difference between political commentary and news. My objection to FAUX News is that they cannot and do not ( ... )
