I'm thrilled at the thought of having my own place.
I'm thrilled at the thought of not having to wait on somebody to get done in the shower so I can go pee.

I wouldn't say its that weird considering your actually in a relationship.
I'm not dating my now former roommate and never had that desire. Peeing in front of each other would've been weird.
