To walk up to Thneedville's main governing building was both an honor and a treat for Gordon as he let Once out of the car. He was sure they were being watched and not just by O'Hare's men. Once adjusted his tie and lapels again, a little worried about how this meeting would go.
"Honestly, I'm never relaxed anymore."

"Besides you helped his campaign last time, he should be grateful."

Once watched and listened quietly as the intern attempted to summon the mayor. He privately hoped that his hypothesis was bunk and the mayor was just a normal guy.
