Ok soo life is slowly returning to some form of normalcy for me. Gypsy is no longer confined, she is still having some issues, but its better and she is using her litter box again. She is on both antibiotics and pain medicine, she was in such pain she wasn't eating. But now she is and she was sleeping on the bed earlier. Snickers is back to being ( Read more... )

OK so Snickers, is off antibiotics and FINALLY back to normal after a vet visit when she wasn't eating that involved her getting an IV because she was dehydrated. NOW Gypsy is on antibiotics because she has a UTI (so a different emergency center vet said)and is peeing blood, but now she's not really drinking enough, so most likely I will have to ( Read more... )

I haven't had any good updates lately, there either hasn't been anything going on, or I just didn't feel like updating.

Happy New Year!!! Today is 1-1-11!!! Lots of ones! I fail at updating this thingy I really do. Snickers is doing well! She got spade and was up and running around within 36 hours despite my best efforts to keep her still. Ok so Snickers is still tryiing to adjust to her new home, still working on the housebreaking and tonight is the 2nd week of the obidience training. She's still having issues, unfourtunately Basset Hounds are extremely stubborn and are hard to train anyway. Further she's the runt of the litter, so she's very needy for attention. YAY! Scott and I got our puppy! We are very happy to have her but she's having some trouble adjusting. However, we are positive that she is in a better home. I have no problem with crate training, if its done properly, now that I know what it is. But the people we got her from would lock her in her cage as punishment and it was OUTSIDE! OK sooo Scott and I are now in Minnesota and its snowy outside, AND IT IS AWESOME! We're going to the mall of America tomorrow (SO EXCITED!) and tuesday Scott and I are leaving here to go to Chicago, and on Wednesday heading down to Missouri.
