Let's shove firecrackers up their asses!

Stories like this really make me sick.  How could someone do this to not only one puppy but SIX?  Who is raising these kids?  What has made them into the teenagers they are...teenagers who derive pleasure from doing this to animals?  I just cannot imagine what kind of adults these kids will grow up to be.  The saddest part is that, if caught, they ( Read more... )

During my brief foray into journalism, I encountered quite a few animal cruelty stories. The worse one was a cat that had been shot with an arrow. When I saw it, I nearly puked. It had this hole in it's neck where the arrow had piercred through. The culprit was a 12 year old "bored" kid. Sad stuff....

Psychologists who study serial killers say that they (sk) often start with animals before moving onto humans. Just a stupid kid? Not always......

Cheers.

I couldn't look at the link, no way I can handle reading about puppy torture... Sick fuckheads... I think anyone who hurts an animal should have the same thing done to them...

And there's a triad of symptoms that are related to future serious crimes and serial killers - hurting animals, starting fires and oh crap, I can't think of the other one (it's before coffee)... Damn, so much for that psych degree...

I can't go to that link because I don't think I'll be able to handle it, though I can imagine what the story is. For a brief time, I did some volunteer work for a non profit animal rescue group and the stories of abuse and cruelty were sickening. I get terribly upset over animal abuse and it was all I could do to keep myself from finding the abusers and doing damage (which is not a solution..but when the emotions run high, it's all you can think about).

There is a lot of proof that kids who abuse animals go on to abuse (or worse) human beings. It's linked scientifically and it's no longer just some theory thrown out. I know certain states are toughening laws against animal abuse, but more need to follow suit. If a child does this, the child is troubled, clearly.
