Nothing but bad luck

On Sunday, I was supposed to drive myself to church, as my sister had meetings to go to afterwards.  So, I'm running late, and I go to start my car . . . and it won't start! Yeah...old cars are a pain in the ass with all their repair bills. Makes me glad that I now live in a place where I don't really need to own a car.

My last p.o.s. ('89 Olds) put a rod through the engine, basically destroying the engine block. ^_^; There was no way in hell I was going to pay to replace my entire engine!

So far, all that needed to be replaced before was the windshield wipers and some tubing (I think that's the wrong word) when I first got the car. For an old car, it's in very good shape. The previous owner was the daughter of a mechanic, and he took good care of it.

I'm sorry. :(

Hopefully you're getting all your bad luck out of the way and you'll have nothing but good for a while. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. ^_^

Sorry to hear about even more bad luck. I hope the car repairs go OK and aren't *too* expensive. And, I hope things get better with your computer, too. *hugs*

Thanks Tex!

I managed to fix my computer, thoguh it's still not turning on properly right away. I need to get my sister's adapter (she used to have the same model as me) and check to see if it's just that, but I keep forgetting. She works nights and sleeps all day, so it's been hard to get ahold of her.
