Today was good. Work was all right because I got to read books about safety, talk to the nice people, and arrange pastries. The new batch of kittens-- pictures coming soon-- were very sweet and the two sickies got a tiny bit better. Today was pretty good until I saw exactly what my bank balance was, but I am doing my noble best to forget the exact

These sound like very heavy books. Try to sandwich in some lighter material in between. Read my eHow about smooth transitions, btw. Might help. Keep your chin up. We're broke too, but nothing lasts forever. Do they pay you weekly, or bi-weekly or monthly, or what? I hope it's weekly. That's such a relief when you can count on your smidgen of money once a week. I'm glad you've got Interlibrary Loan up and running. I know what a comfort and convenience that is to you.
