Did I mention we have a cat? We're babysitting Mr. Coze, an old black cat. I play a record, and the cat hides in the hallway. Nothing doing. He hates my music.

There's just no knowing. Some cats don't even care about music at all. Some have very strong opinions. We have one cat who LOVES the moving screen saver on the dvd player and will watch a movie in hopes that the screen saver will show up. But she doesn't care about music. Another cat we have loves classical music but leaves the room in a huff if we play jazz. You just never know.

Did the experiment work? Did playing it (and inadvertently delighting Mr. Coze) get the song out of your head? Because that's really supposed to work.
