On Thanin's Character anonymous September 20 2011, 08:55:58 UTC
Hi J, I love ATeam as well but I wanted to comment on Thanin's character. :) No generalizations intended, but a friend once said to me, "Girls go for the bad boys but guys go for the good girls." This seems an apt way to look at Thanin's character- although he prefers to sleep around and not your average, committed guy, he still wants the ideal, good girl to be his wife. It is probably more for his control freak tendencies as he treats his wife to be like a possession. At this point, I want to understand more of his purpose in this lakorn. For one, he is the person responsible of driving Rerin away (and invariably meet our sweet Siriyawong) but a "villain" like Thanin will show his claws soon. And Jason Young certainly does a great job as Thanin I might add! xoxo Fia (from lovefia.wordpress.com)

Hi Fia, thanks for your comment.
I'm simply surprise that Rerin managed to tolerate Thanin for so long! Haa, in any case, I'm glad he is a jerk so at least Rerin won't have any trouble choosing between him and Suriyawong. :p

I know what you mean... perhaps she is waiting for the final straw from Thanin. Her mom is clearly cheering them on, as if her daughter is out of options.

I love Roy Mai too and unlike everyone I love the couple Rerin/Suriya better than their ancient conterpart because it feels more romantic because he didn't stop pursuing a woman he hardly knows no matter she has a fiance and what people say about her, but at the same time it's mature because of suriya's and Rerin's personalities. And Aff is prettier as Rerin than as Maneerin. But I like Maneerin better because she is more daring than Rerin and she is the most active in the Siriwong/Maneerin couple.
This lakorn may be my fav of the year since this is not the usual bickering-at-first-to-be-madly-in-love-at-last couple but it doesn't feel boring because of Aum/Aff natural chemistry

I agree that Suriya/Rerin have a more mature relationship whereas Siriwong/Maneerin is more adorable young love. I like both in different ways but I've got to confess to being bias towards Siriwong/Maneerin!
Yes, I'm glad that the couple falls in love at the beginning. I don't fancy dramas where the OTP spends half the time being antagonistic towards each other for silly reasons.

Siriwong and Maneerin are sure adorable. I can say that in my view the best scene in episode 6 is when Siriwong saved drawing Maneerin. It felt dramatic and romantic at the same time. The concerne in Siriwong eyes when he did CPR and how relieved he felt when she coughed and the slight jealousy in his eyes when Siriwattana came and held Maneerin...Aum did a great job here. I have always taken Aum seriously as an actor since the first time I saw him in JLR even though he is not the best in the town. Indeed his eyes speak volume and one can easily read the character feeling through them. Besides I have always thought Aum's is a mix of Masculine -muscular body, square jawline and his eyebrows which give him a severe look-and feminine beauty -not too tall, pretty neck line and a curvy body with stick-out b.tts.
Oups I see I talked too much about Aum. I just feel this an interesting actor.

Heeh, no problem, I think you described Aum perfectly. The Chinese fans nicknamed Aum 毒贩脸 which means 'drug trafficker face', aptly showing his bad boy appeal! Like you said, his eyes speaks volumes and all the loving looks he shoots Aff in RM always makes me squee in delight.
