okay, so like, after just reading the first paragraph i was so hooked on this, i love how you wrote it and au you created with the dystopia and the naturals and the perfectums, it's so !!! *______*

the meeting with jaehyo was so cute, i really liked how lively and just full of life he was, in contrast to everything else in the fic, and then when he asks minhyuk if he's running away he's all serious and the mood changes.

"Minhyuk reveals the process in which he was born - always a sensitive topic for him to reflect on because to everyone in Cradle he is just a replacement; to Jaehyo, Minhyuk has always been Minhyuk." this is so sad but also so cute ;n;

omg i want to quote the entire paragraph with the kiss and i'm going to do it yes i am

first off, thank you so so so much for allowing me to play with your prompts!!! they were all amazing. i worked on multiple different stories during the challenge's duration but this was the one that really just wanted to be written most! and i'm happy with the outcome in the end and even more happy that you liked it as much as you did!!! ♥ ;u;

writing that kiss scene was just natural and i'm so horrible at cutesy moments but i just really enjoyed writing that and aaaaah i'm so happy you liked it (AND ENOUGH TO QUOTE IT BACK???? aah you are so sweet dearest recipient!!! ♥)

omg yes i will definitely like. vomit all of my feels and ficlets at you because you had so many inspiring prompts and i wrote numerous different things (lots of superhero/supermutant things hahahaaaaa) and i'd love to share them with you!!! thank you again for the amazing prompts and i'm just really really really happy you enjoyed :3

THIS IS SO. COOL. The voice is lovely and very Minhyuk-like with how spare it is, and the CONCEPT. AHHH I love dystopians ;u; AND YOU HAD ORANGE JAEHYO TO MAKE IT BETTER AUGHHH he was so sweet and accepting and his talkativeness next to Minhyuk who only speaks when he has to is so perfect ;o;

the grandfather and his lullaby was a nice touch (and the very end I got chills O__O) this is definitely a fic that will remain in my mind for a long while, thanks for writing it!! ;u; ♥

omg thank you so much!!! i really love dystopia settings and i loved that i was able to actually work in one! i loved writing the contrast between the two and jaehyo's love for oranges is so cute that i could not squeeze it in! ;u; i've never really written jaehyo and minhyuk as a romantic relation (actually, i've hardly written either of them ;m; /shamed) and i've never really focused as much on atmosphere before so i challenged myself with those two things for this exchange! i'm happy you enjoyed it!!!

(the grandfather and the lullaby was actually something i slipped in last minute but it became so integral and important and perfect to the story!!! i'm glad you liked those tidbits too!!!)

Like, I dunno how to even comment on this. This makes me think of like super awesome Japanese dramatic movies where the scenery is everything. And I think the setting is almost like its own character here. It's vivid and derelict but so chic at the same time. It's like the best of the decay. I heart it.

Minhyukkie, my favorite robot! He's so helpless and hopeless and adorable and something so close to human. I think that it's interesting that even though he is physically the least human character, he still has the most humanity. It's like Jaehyo introduces this journey on living. It's beautiful, and gah, I love it!

you know i love those types of movies even if like 99.999999999% of the time i don't even get them at all because me and symbolism are so not ~simpatico. minhyuk is my favorite boy for a lot of reasons but i think i mostly just love his irl growth from that really hot guy who kept to himself (((and cut things at night!!!))) into this quirky weird baby who just is so earnest and loving and dopey. aah my minhyuk feels. hold me now.

i had a lot of fun developing this world even if i didn't completely, like, flesh it out? like i just talked about it from minhyuk's perspective which was limited because aah minhyuk. i was totally playing on his old personality of the ~srs mysterious alien~ and how he developed into that weird lovable boy he is today! ;u; so i'm just really happy you liked this and had such kind things to say about it!
