submission formatting

Ready to submit? First of all, congratulations on finishing your fic!

1. Make sure that you've added ALL NECESSARY HTML FORMATTING in your fic.

2. Add a header using the template here:

for challenges:
Title:
Author:
Pairing:
Rating:
Warnings:
Word count:
Summary:

for exchanges:
Title:
For:
Pairing:
Rating:
Warnings:
Word count:
Summary:
Notes:

Fics must have a rating, and any fics that contain character death, excessive/graphic violence, dubcon/noncon, and triggers (such as suicide, self-harm, etc.) must be warned for. Use other warnings at your discretion.

Character(s) can be substituted for Pairing(s); the field can be eliminated altogether for gen fics or fics in which the author feels that listing the pairing would be spoiling. Other optional parts of the header include a disclaimer or author's note.
Pairings can be listed by pairing name, but also include the names of the individual members of the pairing (e.g. Taeil/P.O. in addition to Taepyo). Stage names or real names are fine.

example:
Title: the clouds (above)
Author: mangafanxd
Pairing: Ubomb (Yukwon/Minhyuk)
Rating/Warnings: PG-13, drinking
Word count: 1,000 words
Summary: When Minhyuk pats the space next to him and invites Yukwon to look at the sky with him, it's all Yukwon can do not to clamber to the spot and do just that. You're missing class, he tells Minhyuk instead.

3. For challenges, link to your posted fic (in your journal or community) after the header, or post into the comm directly using a lj cut. As the community will be on moderated posting, your fic will have to be approved by a mod to be posted in the comm. Moderated posting is just a final check to make sure that everything is in order.

4. For exchanges, copy and paste the completed header and fic (make sure your lj cuts are appropriately inserted!) into a .txt or .doc file, attach this file to an email, and send the email to blockisbangfic@gmail.com! For the email itself, use the format below:
Subject: Event Name: [your username] for [recipient's username] - final
Attachment: eventname_yourusername_for_recipientusername_final

And then you're all done! Look forward to the fruits of your efforts :3
