I have officially completed the big project that has been taking up room and time for the past several months so I was able to clean and do this month's blocks.
Nice contrast on this one. I'm not sure why they chose to do separate HSTs for the points rather than Flying Geese, though.
So I tried the flying geese on this one without bothering to look up how to actually do flying geese. I kept getting it all cockeyed for some reason that I can't figure out at all. So a couple of the seam allowances are pretty screwed, but I'm not going to redo them again.
Alas, no matter how many times I try the contrast on this combo just doesn't improve. The fabrics next to each other look fine until they're actually pieced.
So first a storage bag for the antique quilt, then either some more Craftsy B(Q)OMs or test quilts for writing up charity quilting instructions. Decisions, decisions.
