Finished!

`
I wasn't sure this month would get done in time, between having been accidentally drafted into being charity quilt coordinator/cutter (96+ kits done by me, TYVM) and having the machine in for service and being really busy.

But I did manage it. )

I like the contrast in the 1st one best. You're still way ahead of me, though. ;) I will definitely be posting the October block on Tuesday, though.

You know I would lay many of the blocks out and maybe. You'll find you don't actually mind the lighter one.

I have one quilt top that as I worked on it, I was like meh. But then once I got it done. WOW! I loved it!

I doing a values quilt with the Jacobs ladder block, and just one block, ok it's not bad. But When many of them are together, I really like it.

That iron tote is our Friday night project for quilt retreat in January!

I think your first one is more successful than the second, but I still think that second combo is fine. It's just a different take on it.

I'm very excited for you getting a new machine. I have a Viking and I just bought a Juki. I LOVE the Juki (much more than the Viking). The only advantage the Viking as for me is a longer throat for quilting, but otherwise I'll be using the Juki all the time. The Baby Lock looks awesome and it's great that you could make a whole project on one before buying it.

Speaking of which, that tote looks fabulous!
