::He'd almost been feeling better. Amadeus had almost gotten over his not-quite-irrational fear of Dr. Horrible coming out of nowhere and trying to kill him. He'd made plans to work today and had just come out to get a newspaper when the horrifying voice struck him.

Amadeus, for only a few moments took on his snake form, but quickly gathered his wits and resumed his human form, since he could escape faster with the use of legs. H-He just had to not be seen.

He looked around quickly for an escape route.::

::unfortunately for Amadeus, long white hair is pretty easy to spot in a crowd of people wearing dark winter clothing. Dr. Horrible, upon catching a glimpse of Amadeus, narrowed his eyes and leapt down from his perch, shouting and pointing at Amadeus' back, the crowd parting to give him a clear view::

::Amadeus froze up completely. He was panicking. Very very obviously panicking. He was going to doe. This was it. He was going to die, and have to sit and wait for Lin, and then have to start life all over, and Lorelai would be angry, and his buisness would just go straight down the drain!

He looked over his shoulder at Dr. Horrible, looking like he was about to collapse into sobs. Amadeus did not handle life threatening situations well at all.::

::Dr. Horrible paused. He wasn't exactly clear on what to do next. Clearly he couldn't enact revenge, right here, right now; He didn't want to upset things between him and Ema even more, and he was right in the middle of a job. Scowling and shutting his eyes in frustration, he knew he'd have to put his own pressing need to yell at Amadeus aside.

Forcing a smirk, he stalked over to Amadeus and seized him by the arm, turning to address the crowd::

My henchman here, Trauma Lad, will be assisting me in retrieving your valuables! Hand them over to him, and we can all get through this quickly and go home!

::Unfortunately for Horrible, ruining things is what Yuri Hyuga does best, and being stopped on a trip for coffee by the Doctor, the Harmonixer is most definitely pissed off.

Taking advantage of his present state, fused into Seraphic Radiance, Yuri flies across to Horrible at a pace that would be difficult to track with the human eyes, and stops just in front of the scientist's face, hovering slightly off the ground::
Doctor Horrible, what the hell do you think you're doing, ruining my afternoon?

::startled would be an understatement. It's all Dr. Horrible can do not to scream out in terror at the sudden arrival, but once he realizes it's Yuri, he calms back down, glaring::

::Slapping one hand to his forehead, Yuri makes a noise of disapproval::

I was at Lucky Star, getting a nice hot cup of coffee, when suddenly I hear some dumb scientist yellin' all over the terminal. The cute cashier I was ordering from gets so freaked that she spills coffee on me, and I walk out of the cafe drenched and with no drink. You see, now, what I mean by ruining my afternoon?
::As though to emphasize his point, Yuri spreads out his two left wings to their full length, revealing that they're completely sodden, before giving the Doctor an angry scowl::

::He eyes Yuri's soaked wings, and slowly returns to looking at Yuri's face. Suddenly, he cracks a grin, highly amused.::

Really? She was that scared of me? That's...that's great! Heh, man...I don't believe it, the speech worked this time!
