Well, the race the following weekend has nothing to do with the TNT marathon I'm blogging and training for; it's really a race I've registered for as a milestone to achieve on my way to the marathon.
The whole point of the blogathon (for me) is to raise money for the LLS to sponsor my participation in the marathon. It seems counterproductive to skip the Saturday training for that very marathon, you know?
I think I'll just phone-post or post-by-textmessage from the track. Anyone sponsoring me would want me to be out there training, and will probably be interested in my progress.
As it is, I don't know if I'll be able to get out of work on that day, so I might have to go 9 hours without posting anything, but if I do it right, I can just post lots in the remaining 15 hours. :)
Bah. You and I are both doing exactly the same thing on July 17th: we're blogging all day long to raise money for a charity that needs and deserves it. Everything else is icing. ;)

I'm handling that by planning a post-by-phone fest if needed. If you have a cell phone and don't mind buying a paid account for that month ($5 US for 2 months), it might be worth it to set yourself up for posting by phone just during those 9 hours. Your sponsors can even translate your posts for you, if they have accounts.
