Blog Crew Tutorial

Jun 02, 2008 14:27

Many of us are familiar on creating the blog crews. And some of us aren't, and they don't know how to make one. So, I made this tutorial for you guys. It's not the best nor I am the best person who explain things...

So.

oo1;; Choose your theme/ think of a title for your blogcrew. - You need to think first of your blog crew, your over all theme. Examples are present in this community. Or just a character claim for any series under the sun.

oo2;; Create your rules for your blogcrew. - Think of rules for your blogcrew. Single Claims, Multiple Claims. Two or more people can claim the same claim, etc.

oo3;; Coding- Coding is the most essential part of the blogcrew. Coding can be the most irritating or the most simplest part of the blog crew itself. I suggest you know a good amount of HTML for this because this area has SIMPLE HTML editing.

oo3.1;; Create your Blog Crew Link. Example: "I shared my Coca Cola with {INSERT CHARACTER HERE} ♥" You can tweak colors and everything in this step. :)

oo3.2;; Post your blog crew in F-lock first. You don't want a swarm of people claiming like crazy, right? :D After which, edit your journal entry again, copy the journal entry link and find a good area for the link. Highlight the text, and click the globe with the link, there will be a popout box and there will be a small white box and place your link to it. Or, in HTML, same thing with the good area to link with except you edit it with TEXT Here . If you want a colored Link here's the code  I shared my Coca Cola with {claim here} *thanks
jushira for pointing this*

oo3.3;; Go to HTML and place the tag in the beginning of "I shared my Coca Cola with {INSERT CHARACTER HERE} " and end it with . THIS IS A CRUCIAL STEP, ONCE YOU REVERT BACK TO RICH TEXT TAB. It will look like this:

I shared my Coca Cola with {INSERT CHARACTER HERE}

If you want to edit the Code, I suggest you delete it; because if you tried to edit, there's going to be a bunch of jumbly things and numbers and blah... I can't describe it. D: It's just complicated. If you have ample knowledge of HTML I'm pretty sure you'll figure it out.

oo4;; Go back to rich text format, see everything if it's okay... and then post your blog crew! :3

oo5;; Be committed on updating your claim list... I'm not the most perfect example of this so... :D
