I just joined LJ about a month ago. I wrote about the suggestions for reading material that my therapist had for me. He suggested I read philosophy, poetry and/or religious materials. At that point I was completely obsessed with the news. His suggestions actually helped me find LJ in the first place! Anyhow...Happy Birthday LJ.....The material in

So, what did you decide to read? I love the "Philosophy and ... " books (Philosophy and the Matrix, Philosophy and Star Wars," etc.

Poetry, too, of some kinds more than others, of course, poetry being a broad category.

I have been reading philosophy and biblical quotes and some poems. It is definately good to broaden ones horizons and read more then current events! Take Care!
