I want to donate some money to a charity that helps prevent animal cruelty. Does anyone have any ideas?

There are a lot of smaller animal shelters that are suffering due to the economy.

There's always the ASPCA (www.aspca.org) and the Anti-Cruelty Society (www.anticruelty.org) are two biggies, and there's always the site Pet-Abuse.com for more information.
