I've just got back from my first day working in the infirmary with Madam Pomfrey. She mostly just showed me around today, and explained some of the things I'll be doing. I won't be doing anything too important, sorting potions and labeling files and that sort of thing. She said I might start helping with some of the potion preparation later on

Dreadful. Positively dreadful. I can't stand Transfiguration. It's a shame it's so dead useful.

Dreadful is understandable when you're taking Transfiguration. I'm glad I had the sense to give that up years ago! Well, sense and that fact that you have to do more than barely scrape a pass in your OWL to get into NEWT-level. I can't say I miss it though!

I will try very hard not to kill anyone! Though I hope that there isn't too much damage I can do writing labels.
