i'm not sure if i'm bringing tetra just because it's not very recognizable and the ears are a pain >__< (i can't tell you how many times my bf was trying to tear them off and reapply them to make them even)
maybe i'll reconsider and dress as her for friday....

Awwww! Your Tetra is soooooo adorable! But I totally understand about the ears and it not being as recognizable... those are both frustrating things. I was an elf from the Lord of the Rings a few years back, and I had the little latex ears... and they were also kind of annoying! I need to get some new (hopefully better quality) ones for Saria. I also hate it when I put a lot of time into a costume and hardly anybody recognizes you, except people in your own fandom.
Saria will definitely be for Ohayocon! Two months is more than enough time to finish her. Actually, we probably can't attend Colossalcon this year because they moved it all the way to Sandusky and that's a bit far for us... the main reason we went last year is because it was only about 20 minutes away which was totally convenient. I'm really mad that they moved it so far. If it was the only con we were attending, we woulddefinitely go... but we're already planning for Ohayocon and Otakon... and those are both much farther away and more pricey. :(
