Hey :] You did an awesome job on the costume! Got all the details exactly. I was wondering, how did you make the boot covers? Was there a certain design layout for them?

That is really creative :] I'm actually trying to make the costume as well but it's proving to be a little more difficult than I thought. But you're an inspiration and I can see that it can be accomplished. I might as well make the boot covers myself too and thanks for your help :]

No problem! Aw, I'm so happy that my cosplay inspired you! That makes me really glad! Ashley is a really fun costume, I wish you luck with yours! I'd love to see it when it's done ^_^

What else are you having difficulty with, or is it mainly the boot covers? I'm willing to offer advice in any way that I can! XD

I saw your cosplay on cosplay.com. In my opinion, you're one of the best Ashley cosplayers I've ever seen. xD

Mm...I need help, if that's okay. I'm planning on being Ashley for Halloween (I know, I'm asking questions so late. .w.~). Everywhere I've gone, I've gotten REALLY close to getting the orange sleeveless mock top. I even got a mens' orange sweater, planning to shrink it in the washer and cut the sleeves off. But I'm sort of a perfectionist, so I like to go for Authenticity... xD

I know, of course, that with the little amount of time I have left, I'll have to make do with what I have. So I guess if it all doesn't work out, I can alter that sweater. But I still can't find the green pleated plaid skirt, anywhere, and I think I'll just end up giving up on the boot cover-ups. ;w;

So, my question to you, I guess: Do you know any good places to get a good skirt that would match Ashley's? ^^;

No problem, that’s so awesome that you got to wear the costume to school! I’ve always wanted to wear my Ashley costume around my campus but I am never there on Halloween. I’d love to see photos when you post them! ^_^

Yeah, when cosplaying Ashley you get that A LOT. People will sass you or call you annoying/useless and a multitude of things, but you just have to have a good attitude about it because there are also people out there who really appreciate Ashley! Just like you, I cosplay her because I think she’s an adorable character. She’s also pretty relatable and I love how she’s not the typical badass chick like all of the other RE ladies. She needs Leon’s help, which makes her a lot more realistic, I think. And of course I think that her and Leon are adorable together <3 ( ... )
