have to admit that there was a fair bit of trial-and-error making it - lol, going by memory, and mine isnt the best in the world!. since it was the first in a long time, a lot of effort went into it, and im really pleased that it turned out as well as it did!
But you could totally sell them LOCALLY, I'm sure! Like your comment below-- it would definitely be worth seeing what you can put together to sell at the Christmas fair.
its not *too* ouch, unless i end up sending loads of stuff to the US :D the occasional gift is ok though.
ill definitely be doing the zodiac medallions, plus little "pen pots" as well as the jewellery boxes. whether i do loads by christmas is another matter ROFL!
That is indeed *beautiful*! Here's a better Ebay idea - sell enough locally to make enough for a plane ticket, then take our orders from the States, make them up and fly over to meet us all & deliver them in person! If you come in February, you could even merchant at Estrella War and sell a lot more!
I'll take mine in blue & white, if possible; blue & gold a close second choice.
Glad to see you're back using your creativity and doing something that makes you happy :-)
tell you what... i would so *love* to come to the US.. im actually attempting to save up to go there for a holiday.
lol, i seriously doubt if i could turn the SG into a viable business though... its purely a spare-time hobby and the cost of materials plus the time taken would make the price just too high per piece.
several people at teh school where i work have suggested that i make stuff to sell at thier christmas fair. i suppose if i go buy some more glass and just *go for it* in my lunch breaks i could get enough "stuff" to have a stall for the morning i suppose..
*then* ill know how popular/worth it it is to go semi-commercial.
until then, ill just have fun making stuff and occasionally giving them as gifts :D
