So a few months back I bought myself a funky little alarm clock with a cd player so that I could wake up to the music of my choosing, no BEEP BEEP crap, no buzzers, no annoying cheesy morning breakfast radio shows, & def no annoying "the blind factoreee" adds either (yes... I listen to Gold ... ok?), just nice calming music to ease me into my day

i can highly recommend going to the effort and setting up an account with www.xe.com for international cheques and wires - very low fees (sometimes none) and usually better exchange rates than the banks...

its how i pay all my suppliers, all done online within 5 minutes, and the odd time a cheque hasn't arrived to my supplier they've easily tracked it, cancelled it and reissued (or re-wired) with minimal drama.
