It'd taken Jak a while to find his phone. Not like he'd used it a lot back when he was at Fandom.

"'...go where I have to go?' Jak!" Dinah muttered to her voicemail, in a complete tizzy that she'd missed his call.

She still played it back seven times, just to hear the I'm good in his own voice, and hoping the I'll see you was a promise and not a good-bye.

Right. Okay. That one? Might have been really confusing-- but it also reminded Dinah of the last weird message Ino left her, which reminded her of her fear at the time of the phones going crazy, which made her realize Phones Today? Bad, Evil, Uber-No-Good.

Which made her wonder where her messages got to. "Oh, crap."

... the next time she saw Ino, she was so asking about the flying car, though.
