Three weeks in and we're still alive!

Sydney turned three weeks old yesterday and I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. I've been terrible about blogging about anything (just some tweets here and there) but beverly gave me a little kick in the pants and reminded me to start!

Week One:

I had a cesarean section, so the first week is a bit of a blur. I was in the hospital from Saturday-

Wouldn't it have been funny if after 7 hours, the doc just pulled Sydney's finger? Well, maybe not... not after 7 hours OMG!

Glad to hear that you guys are doing well. I started to make a joke about babies, buckets and Planned Parenthood when you posted that photo shoot pic, but refrained fearing that those type of jokes might upset you being that it was so soon. Then Cyn assured me that since Sydney and you are safe and well, I could probably get away with being crass.

So there you go Dawn, proof that I really, really care. I passed up a good joke (though that may be debatable) - all for you.

I had the blues for about two weeks after I had L (also a c-section after hoping for a natural birth). It was really hard, but my husband and friends got me out of the house and that helped. It sounds like you are doing great!

Glad you wrote all that down, it'll be nice for you to reflect back on many years from now too :)

I was DESTROYED at having to have a cesarean :( Was so totally unprepared and pissed off I went through labour/pushing beforehand too *sigh*...
