I spend a lovely Wednesday evening at Dogear Wryde with Remus and his other houseguests. When I had departed the Manor to make my way there, I knew that Mr. Finnigan would be present but I had absolutely no idea that two of the Weasley children would be there as well. Thank Eleos that neither happened to be the young and volatile Ronald. Merlin ( Read more... )

Narcissa, if you would take Rosie at the weekend, that would be wonderful. She is still too small to run with a werewolf, and I would worry about her. I'll send one of the house-elves with her tonight, as I will be away from home shortly.

Thank you, dear - now, have you seen a Healer about your... condition, yet?

Remus,

I would be delighted to take Rosie for a few days. You needn't worry, she and Echo shall have a lovely time romping about the grounds. I expect she will be here within the hour. Send me an owl when you are ready to have her home again.

I've not been to a Healer yet; I've been spending the entire afternoon trying to discern why several of the portraits here at the Manor have banded together and done something with the youthful likeness of my son. I honestly do not know when I could fit such an appointment in as this week is rather booked as it is.

Mother, don't you feel the portraits have got a tad out of hand? Clearly this was done with malicious intent.

Darling,

I do believe that you have been right all along. I am most displeased with them all at the moment as they refuse to tell me the whereabouts of your younger, painted self nor as to their reasoning for being so very cruel! Would you like to try to speak with them, dear? They all seem to have begun ignoring my pleas for compassion and I am ever so vexed.

Love,
Mother
