Hm. I support them as long as you're careful about them, and for the love of heaven, please get it done somewhere competant. My first pair was done at one of those places in the center of a mall, and they mispierced me. It was too low and it scared and almost ripped out the bottom of my ear. I've had them re-pierced, but still. Ick.
