I see women in "successful" relationships and I just can't...be like them. I want someone awesome in my life but at the same time, I don't want to sacrifice the things I perceive as being sacrificed by women in those "successful" relationships

I don't see it as being immature (probably because I feel the same way). sometimes I feel a little guilty, though, because I feel that the reason I'm never in one of those "successful" relationships is being I know how great I am, and I'm not willing to settle for someone not as great (if not greater) as me. I'm hard-pressed to find a "successful" relationship out there where both the man and woman (or any gender combination for that matter) are not only awesome, but also challenge each other. leave it to my parents to set the standard so high that I just may be relationship-less forever. damn!
