Age is catching up with me and the old brain cells are on a go-slow. So, I decided I'm going to make the effort to try to finish some of the zillion WIPs I have on my hard drive. Finished one, opened another and.... something else popped into my head, so I had to write it down. Grrr, Now I have another WIP started to add to the list. What is

Sounds like the Out-of-Control-Breeding Plot Bunnies.

When I get the energy to write, which isn't often lately, I keep being harassed by Gotta-Better-Idea Plot Bunnies that bounce up in the middle and insist I change the entire direction of the story, leaving me a few hours later with a complete mess that I can't edit back into any kind of story.

Those "wascawwy wabbits" are a real pain. Hope you can get yours calmed down and publish some again becaus your stories are great.

This is exactly my problem! I have the story in my head, I start typing and they go off on a tangent and the end result is nothing like I originally planned?
I think my plot bunnies need castrating.

I really need to stop going down research rabbit holes too. I get to They entered the Thai restaurant... Then my brain yells: " Wait! Was there a Thai restaurant on Long Island in 1967?" Three hours on the Web later, They entered the Chinese restaurant... Brain: "I forget why they were there."

My deepest sympathies. I don't do much research, but occasionally have found I've spent way too much time Googling things like chocolate and cars from the 1960's. There must be less frustrating ways to spend your spare time!
