I've just spend like an hour, trying to figure out how to semantically categorize the verbal collocates of 'sense' in German. That alone is reason enough to know why I haven't spend a full work day with my thesis ever since I begun to write on it three months ago... but now there's only 14 pages left to write and I wanna be done next week. So i'm sitting my ass down for real.

I think the worst part is when you start working on it and then you look up and eight hours have gone by and you've got NOTHING to show for it. Or what feels like nothing.

Deadlines always make me work faster/harder and focus!
